29 kwietnia grupa młodzieży Zespołu Szkół Rolniczych w Sokółce pod opieką Dariusza Żołądkowskiego i Tadeusza Otoki pojechała na uroczystości rocznicowe poświęcone mjr Henrykowi Dobrzańskiemu – Hubalowi do Anielina. Szaniec Hubala w Anielinie, w gminie Poświętne, jest miejscem szczególnym. To tu, rankiem 30 kwietnia 1940, w walce z Niemcami poległ major Dobrzański – dowódca Wydzielonego Oddziału Wojska Polskiego. Co roku w tym miejscu gromadzą się przedstawiciele szkół i drużyn harcerskich noszących imię majora Dobrzańskiego – Hubala, aby oddać mu hołd. Tegoroczne uroczystości objął honorowym patronatem Prezydent Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
Obchody 78. rocznicy śmierci Hubala zgromadziły przedstawicieli parlamentu, władz samorządowych, żołnierzy, kombatantów, delegacji szkół i drużyn harcerskich oraz okolicznych mieszkańców. Obchody rozpoczęły się od zaciągnięcia warty przez Kompanię Honorową 25. Batalionu Kawalerii Powietrznej z Tomaszowa Mazowieckiego.
Po mszy polowej nastąpił apel poległych i salwa honorowa. Nie zabrakło okolicznościowych przemówień, w których podkreślano wyjątkową postawę majora Hubala, jego żarliwy patriotyzm i bezgraniczne oddanie Ojczyźnie. Złożenie wieńców i wiązanek przez przybyłe delegacje oraz pokazy ułańskie zaprezentowane przez grupy rekonstrukcyjne zakończyły uroczystości.
Młodzież miała także okazje zwiedzić ruiny średniowiecznego zamku Kazimierza Wielkiego w Inowłodzu oraz malowniczo położony nad Pilicą kościół romański św. Idziego z 1086 roku - pisze w mailu do redakcji Dariusz Żołądkowski.
